I have reached the point where I am now settled into my studies here at the University of Pittsburgh. The class is brutal. I always learn languages slowly and painfully, this was the case with Spanish and German, it is now also the case with Bulgarian. The five hours of class I have a day are marathons of pain and a serious flagellation of my ego.

Immersion language-learning is the way to go. Do they have you sign a pledge to only use Bulgarian during the program?

I don't know if this helps but I am sure you are not the only one suffering in the class. You will get it though.

No worries, you'll get to a point (in a few days, I'm betting) where things will just *click* and you'll understand everything. I get that way at times with my language studies.

Aside from the language program, I'm glad that life has seemingly smoothed out a bit for you. You deserve a break (as do I and when/ if I get money from the psycho, I'll feel it), and it's about time that it's working for you.

I miss seeing you though!
