Contingency
There are times that I feel like I am an obsessive planner. I think I am too obsessive, actually. When I want something, I will hammer out a plan and refine it to death. Life Update Part II
So it's now been a week since I passed the oral defense of my Master's thesis, and turned in the GS02 form, signed, to the graduates studies office, to make me an official Master of the Art of History...or something like that. Besides the three days I was sick (I blame it on all the stress) I have spent much of the time reflecting on my experiences ( Read more... ) -

I know some of you are wondering how the oral defense of my Master's thesis went. I passed with ease...my comittee deliberated for less than five minutes. I now have earned the degree of Master of Arts in History.
I will talk more later about this and other things, but I figured I should let everyone know. -

Those aggressive Swiss
Swiss accidentally invade Liechtenstein
ZURICH, Switzerland --What began as a routine training exercise almost ended in an embarrassing diplomatic incident after a company of Swiss soldiers got lost at night and marched into neighboring Liechtenstein.
