Still feelin' good from the weekend.
Despite a lot of "fun" at work this week, the weekend seems to have left me in a rather good mood. Guess it was just something I needed.
Saturday started out at galen_keman and bikercheetah's place to wash and wax cars. I enjoyed that a bit more that I thought I would. And the car needed it. That finished mid afternoon, followed by sushi, a video store trip, the arrival ( Read more... ) -

Whee! Wait... not really.
Well the beach trip is done. Naturally it was too short, the 6 hour drive down took 9, and I think I exceeded my alcohol quota (I rarely drink) for the rest of the year but plenty of fun was had ( Read more... ) -

8 hours until I split for the beach for some fishing, booze, fireworks, and family. Must be moving by 8 to make a late lunch 350 miles away in Hatteras, NC. I'm kinda wishing I was taking vt_komainu with me but not everything could be worked out at this point for that to happen comfortably. I still wanna see him hauling in some big ass fish. Ever since moving I've been feeling rather disconnected with myself and reality. Forgetting where I put things, what I was doing, things people said to me minutes ago... more so than usual. :-P Dunno what to blame it on, since moving has never bothered me much in the past and things are mostly OK at the house ( Read more... ) -

5 days until my mate and I are living under one roof. I've been waiting months for this, and I've probably needed it for longer than I realize. Everything is set up for the move and there are no big issues looming overhead. I'm mostly confident in my knowledge of what I'm getting myself into.
This does not explain why I'm so damn nervous.
