to me, love is several things. as cliche as it sounds, love is never having to say your sorry. it's unending forgiveness. it's being able to sit with someone, in complete and utter silence and be completely content with that. it's learning new things and strengthing the old. it's finding someone you can tell your deepest darkest secrets to, and knowing they're safe as can be.

love is lisa and the way she makes me feel.

love is sacrifice. its being able to give that person up because its what's best for them, not you. like in ancient times when two women were fighting over who was the mother of a particular baby, king solomon took the baby, laid it down and took out his sword to cut the baby in half so they both could have it. but then the real mother yelled "stop!" and let the other woman have him. The mother would rather give up her happiness just so the baby wouldnt be harmed. thats what love is. love is sacrifice.

Love is that feeling we try strive for in others, but is not found unless we have it inside ourselves.

love is being able to trust your other more than you trust yourself.
you dont have to worry about them hurting you because you are so close to them and you feel exactly what they feel.
when you miss that person when they're sitting right next to you.
not having to tell them something because they already know what youre going to say. and they say it right before you do.

love is so fucking complicated. oh man. <3

ok, i've been thinking about this. love is that little flutter in your stomach when you find out that that person is going to be somewhere you didn't think they'd be, and you'll be there too. love is being able to fly through the 3 papers you have just so you can see them for the weekend. love is knowing that you can tell that person the weird dream you had last night when you know anyone else would give you the evil eye. love is being able to lay in the person's arms, or with them in your arms and just smile. love is knowing you have an escape from all the craziness even if you can't physically leave. love is having the best goodnight ever. love is feeling complete even hours after you've left their house.
