for teacher recommendations, see if there is a form that comes with the application or instructions that say it should be mailed directly to the school, give them the form or a stamped envelope with the school's address on the front, and yours as the return. (in case it gets lost and goes return to sender) if there aren't specific instructions then just go to the teacher and ask them. "could you write me a letter of recomendation for my application to _____?" if you don't have time to ask them in person write them a note and ask the nice office ladies to stick it in their mailbox. oh and pick the teacher that you had the best relationship with, even if the class was a little challenging. they will know you the best and will say nice things about your study habits even if you had a bit of a hard time in their class. if it has specific instructions (i.e. senior english teacher, i had that one and i hated mine) then ask that teacher. trust me, teachers love writting these things because it makes them feel honored that you trust them
