So I posted as Molly before, but it was a big lie.
Watched 2/3 of Loose Change last week (downloaded a cut-off version at first). It gave me a lot to think about, and I'll watch the rest soon. The facts seemed pretty checkable, and many of the points rather eerily obvious.
Read some of the criticisms of the movie, but they seem to be fairly superficial, as opposed to casting doubt on the basic premise.
Honestly, one of the most stunning things was just the footage; I didn't have a TV on 9/11 and avoided the media about it anyway, so I hadn't seen much video of the towers. It was awful to watch, even here so far away and so long after. The idea of government complicity (or worse) in these things is hateful: I hope to God it isn't true. But if it is, we deserve an accounting, and justice. Yet if we got it, I don't know what kind of restitution could possibly be made to the American people for such a thing.
