Umm...wow... Dear? I love you, and I'm glad you tried to find a good fix instead of running out and buying a new chair, but that looks like a really BAD idea to me. Why don't you just borrow one of the chairs out of my room for now?
Because none of the chairs in your room are good enough. Besides, this is something I've been meaning to try for a while now; I merely chose to see the chair breakage as an opportunity, not a problem.
I will freely admit that the setup isn't perfect (namely the desk is still an inch or two too tall), but this is just a trail--it it works, I'll invest money in something that works better.
In the meantime, I've been spending less time on my computer, more time reading and thinking and think this is a positive all around. Not to mention the fact I spend less time sitting and getting fatter and more time moving around, stretching, etc.
Are you coming back Saturday or Sunday or some other day?
