Tis the season list

   The holidays are upon us and as usual I am introspective about what to get people as gifts. The last few years has reinforced my belief that stuff is the enemy. I don't want to get stuff for people just to have it be one more pebble on the penguin pile.
   Unless someone has made it clear what they seek I am go to give what I want to receive.

I hear you on "stuff is the enemy." I think that sometimes the obligation to gift leads to giving that, though thoughtful...is in some ways, not actually thoughtful.
