Willow’s Big Adventure (Irene’s Big Adventure?)

Inmate #117892870987 (Willow Shafer) who will be on my shite list for a least the rest o the week (day?).

While I was trying to call Hadley in before the storm, little missy decided it was a good time to escape! (Willow does not go outside!!) I chased her back and forth on the porch for a few minutes

Sometimes I think our feline children plot these things so they can have the pleasure of watching us run about like a chicken with our heads cut off! LOL! Let's hope that the short stay in the temporary 'cat prison' (the screen house) while during a storm will squelch Willow's desire for adventure for a while!

These comedy of errors come far too often in our lives, don't they?

I certainly hope so! I expect she was frantic in there whilst the thunder boomed. I never brought the furniture out this season so there was not a single thing to hide under/behind. I really did feel badly to leave her out there alone, all the way in the back like that, but I could never have held onto her - and I was walking up and down the street a little bit - for the whole time. (I was "out" for about an hour, maybe a little more.) I'm just so grateful I had the screen house to put her in! The garage would have been perfect, but I didn't have the key for those two bays. There's no key for the 3rd bay, but that's because...one of the door panels rotted and fell off - left an opening big enough for a person to crawl through... :( There was a huge cardboard box out there from the portable AC I got this summer, but I would have had to top it with something. Ugh! I'm just so glad it all worked out OK...

And sadly, this comedy of errors IS my life sometimes. ;)
