Major apologies if that last post didn't Cut right. This new version of lj doesn't seem to be functioning for me (but I'm having browser issues in general, anyway) and once I cut and paste my text, I couldn't seem to touch it anymore. Couldn't suck up that big open space after the photo and I have NO idea if the ljcut actually worked

Thanks, hon. I'm a frustrated graphic designer; I get frustrated when things don't format the way I want them to...

Ah, I should write regular updates here, but never got into the habit. For a while, I was writing so much fanfiction (that I didn't post here because, um, yaoi...), that I didn't have time or brain cells to talk about my life or stuff. But it felt good to write that little adventure (and I have a ton of them) and it would be good for me to get back into the habit of articulating, well, stuff, you know, more.

PS - With me being upstate now (I live 90 minutes NW of Albany), it's become a little more of a logistical challenge, but we'll make it there some day. Baby snow leopard may have baby of its own by then, but... ;)

Just noticed your "ARG!!" icon. As a fan of a particular actor from >cough,cough< Glee (one of the darker characters; no longer on the show), I actually have a complement of pirate "Arg!" icons. He was pretty unpopular with some people and we came to call ourselves "Pirates" for some reason...)

I have several argh/pirate icons, all made from the same picture that a friend Photoshopped for me one Christmas. I have a pirate monkey icon, too, but it's not currently in use. (So many icons, so little time.)

And I didn't realize you were quote so far away now, but maybe you'll make a City visit sometime and we can arrange something. The zoo's open year round, and I'm always up for a visit. (Unless Hip #2 goes, and then there will be a slight delay. But it's behaving so far, so... ::crosses fingers::)

PS - Are you in/near the Adirondacks? My sense of geography is rather unreliable, but I end up NW of Albany twice a year when I go up to the mountains, so maybe someday I can stop along the way for lunch if you're not too far off my route.

No worries. I've seen worse done to my f-list page. :) I sometimes have trouble with LJ's spacing and getting the cut thingy just right. LJ is teh ebil sometimes. ^_^

As for the post itself, yay for pasta being OK, for kitty being OK, and for no real harm done, muddy socks not included! :)

Thanks! Glad it wasn't too annoying. (Well, I was annoyed, but I got over it.) :)

As for the socks, well, they did not come clean, but since one of them had a hole in it and they weren't even a match, no big loss anyway. :)
