1. on a scale of 1-10, with 1 being i just woke up from a nap and 10 being my name is lydia and i know archaic latin, how awesome is lydia? i don't get the hate! the girl probably deciphered linear a and b when she was 12! she takes spa baths in her giant claw foot tub and reads descartes! she knows how to make molotov cocktails!* she is the girl you want to be on the team!

2. scott and allison, putting the teen in teen wolf. season 2 is continuing to make them seem like a viable couple. sad to say it might be working.
3. scott's, "hey guys, remember when i almost killed you? but i had friends!" made me remember how much i want to like his character. he's the total shounen hero here; seemingly, okay more like tellingly, dimwitted, brave, loyal, with a strong heart! he cares about people! jackson doesn't have nakama friends but that doesn't mean we can't be there for him!
usually i fucks with that kind of character hard core. maybe the writers can work on balancing those qualities out more.
4. derek! why didn't you dress for the club! and by that i mean, why were there no scenes of derek being hit on in the club!?
5. stiles brought the a game tonight! he gets the best lines, he's supposed to, but god! dylan delivers them so well! and i love that he was going to tell his father. he braced himself for that conversation. he was going to tell him because they needed help. and because he trusts him. and ends every text message with a love you! heissosweet!
6. mrs. argent? terrifying! everyone is like, oh grandpa ceylon! and he is creepy but um. mrs. argent? seriously needs to be an overt villain because goodgod! she's amazing. the way she went from concerned mother to, "we don't want to have to kill a 16 year old?" i was like damn because implied in those few words were 1. because we will and 2. like we have before.
terrifying.
7. DANNY! STILL WEARING ARMANI (and god i saluted that bit of continuity) IN THE CLUB! KNOWN TO THE BAR TENDER! SAD ABOUT HIS EX! LOYAL TO JACKSON!
8. why is peter hale not overtly ravishing people every episode? if scott isn't taking her into the fold and if derek isn't going to bring her in, i recommend peter starting team badass with lydia and jackson.
