I do not think so. I am fairly certain others just want to see me as a child. It is unfortunate.

They seem to think it is nice to baby me and while I adore the affection and know they really do care it can be very frustrating!

I feel really pathetic admitting this, but here goes.

My girlfriend disappeared a while ago, but I still sleep with her journal under my pillow, and sometimes check it... just to see if it's started working again.

I don't think it's pathetic. This place works so strangely, it's hard not to hold onto those thin threads of hope.

If nothing else, you remember her. That's important.

My significant other left some time ago too, Anon. I miss him more than I ever thought I would, even though I made a promise to myself that I would not let myself get too attached in case he just vanished one day, and he did. I sleep in one of his t-shirts, read the notes that he used to leave in my home, and try to remember what we shared.

I know it's hard not to pine for her. Please don't waste away wishing for the impossible.
