ACen scheduling things...

So one week from today, we'll be preparing to go onstage! Woo! As soon as I get a couple redone lines, I should be able to finish the mixing very quickly, thanks to a new program I'm trying. Mmm, more than two tracks at a time... Also, I took some pics of the various props and wigs I did for Apollo and Kristoph, which are done. Now have everything ( Read more... )

Thursday of course we are rehearsing. If all goes according to plan, our car will be in by 9 PM on Thursday night. Probably earlier. Linden and I have to pick up badges but that's no problem, AND we are in the Hyatt this year. I want to block everything Thursday. But we need the recordings for that since we are going to rehearse lip-synch in the car.

Friday: You're entirely correct, I'm not planning on being in the AA photoshoot itself, but by gum we can get pics of that on Saturday! And yes, we'll be rehearsing. Thanks for finding out when check-in is. Are there also rehearsals/screenings like there were last year?

Sunday there will be room in the car. Yes, we are planning on Kalamazoo and working and meeting the bunnies. Linden's got a 6 pM flight out of O'Hare, so I figured we'd hit Mitsuwa and chill and then drop her off at 4 or so before we go to KAlamazoo with you.

Thursday: Ah good, we'll probably be getting in well before that, and... actually I'm not sure if Jess is getting in on Thursday, but she's in theatre and already knows the song well - she'll pick up the rest quickly if she's in on Friday. I'll try to get in touch with her tonight and find out. And if I'm lucky, by then I'll even have recordings for everyone. ;) (One of J's lines was in the wrong key and not timed to the music - I get the feeling it may have been recorded while listening to the original sound file instead of the midi, possibly... But once that's in, I can stick it in where it belongs and the mixing will basically be done ( ... )

It's indefensible? Yeah.

Re: Friday, OH! Okay! Yeah that should be fine. Will be totally reasonable to snag an 8 slot since I was going to be changing out of Hetalia after the shoot anyway, and this also gives Linden time to do her hair and stuff for the things we're wearing on Friday night.

I'll probably not be back in Chicago until something like 5:00pm-5:30pm Central time, so it'll be up to y'all whether to wait for me or head out earlier. I'm cool with either one, although being able to share the drive is always a plus.

Yeah, still having problems. Gr.

I'll have something for you on Thursday as well - the leather is drying at the moment! Bring whatever decoration you decided upon for the pommel to prereg/rehearsal, so that you can admire the finished product.

Friday I'm Ran Yakumo, but as long as we know when we're meeting and I have someone to unscrew me from my tails (preferably already up at the room, rather than downstairs), I can get into the pimp's Apollo's outfit pretty easily for skit rehearsal. (I'll want to change back, though. Or possibly into Aki. And seriously, if I were to grab one of those canes with the big gems, I'd easily pass as a pimp in this costume. Yikes ( ... )

I'm bringing an excellent blueberry wine for celebratory purposes this time ^_^

...I'm sure there's an equivalent to OM NOM NOM for beverages, but I don't know what it is. OM NOM NOM.

Yay for swords! I'll make sure I remember to hit Hobby Lobby Wednesday or Thursday to look for crazy tassels.

...Apollo as a pimp is a thoroughly bizarre thought. If anything, Phoenix (or Trucy) would be his pimp. (And I think I read a fic about Kristoph being his pimp, actually... but he's definitely more the type to be pimped out. XD)

And in response to your comment later - large in relation to the "large boxes" needed for the benches? I was thinking two and a half feet or more as the longest dimension (whether that's setting the box on end or the box actually being that tall - and I'm thinking disassembly + reassembly at con is the way to go, considering that size).

Oh, while I'm thinking about it, how large is "large"?
