But let's be serious for a moment. What was the best college that accepted someone from the GHS class of 2004? Let me be frank, the list of colleges that the 2003 class headed off for was, in a word, disappointing. I really don't want yet another crop of Georgetown grads bitching and complaining that I don't pay my fair share of taxes because I ( Read more... )

umm i believe one of the kids in the 2003 class went to Harvard, and a bunch of them went to good colleges, at least they went. And if you still go to GHS or grad already I bet you wont go to collage or just ended up not going because you a stupid fuck up yourself. get a life....

That's "college" not collage - though I am sure that plenty of GHS grads got into good collages...

We're the sons and daughters of peasants. Glory, and riches, and stars are beyond our grasps. But a full stomach, that dream can come true.

Hey I graduated last year and I don't care that I don't go to an Ivy League school. They don't have my majors anyways. I love my school and I love my majors, Equine Management with a double in Business. I'm happy and I will be successful and if all goes right I should be making the same if not double what Ivy League grads make a year. It doesn't matter what school you go to its the quality of the education

point out some success stories?

how about the girl's basketball team playing at the fleet?
or sara watson going to harvard?
or jess shea going to art all state?
or katie z and kerry and michelle being picked as some of the best high school musicians in the state?
how about hilary joyner getting to go to college for free because she worked hard for 4 years?
how about the girl's 4x4 team making it to Easterns?

just because you're a failure, doesn't mean there's no successes in georgetown.

Who says he/she is a failure? Maybe they are just having some fun...

Now that I said that everyone is once again going to assume it's me doing all this...then once again I will say it isn't and I would never have the time and the energy to do all this...

If Sara went to Harvard... icanseeformiles March 15 2004, 19:25:25 UTC
then I humbly apologize to her for thinking not one of the class of '03 got into a top tier school. However, I still stand my accusation that the list of schools the Record published was pathetic...

I'm not a fan of Sara basically because she said my school wasn't the same class as Harvard. In other words Midway is a piece of crap and Harvard is the shit...haha

I graduated with the class of 2003. I know that a lot of students that graduate from Georgetown don't go off to Ivy Schools...or even top tier schools. But i don't think the name or reputation of the school makes the person ( ... )
