Here is my suggestion to you, the students of GHS. STRIKE! Whatever you can do, or believe you can, begin it. Boldness has genius, power and magic in it

Would enjoy talking with you more - without the several day delay. I took the various instant messaging programs off my computer because they were the source of various ad pop-ups and spyware issues. We will figure something out.
If people are looking for a school that pushes the "limits" of education, then maybe they need to enroll in a private school. This is a public school...not a freaking academy! This is not a very wealthy town....yes most of the people here try to act wealthy...but most arent. I'm happy with the education I have, I agree it's not the best you can get...but you know what? If you are looking for a really great education go to a school that offers more...no one is stopping you. Sorry you hate this school so much, but I really do not see why you are making such a horrible fuss over this whole situation. It is great to see that you are so interested in everyone getting the best education, but I really think you could put this effort towards something more worth while.
I dont think he is writing this posts to attack the students in the school. He is attacking the school system and questioning why a middle class public school doesn't get the same education as an upper class public school. Or why can't a private school education be equal to a public education. I dont think there is anything wrong with that.
He isn't attacking you personally. Just the system and the people who are ignorant to the inequalities.
I also feel as though this is an issue for people to make a fuss about. It is about your education and your future.
I would also like to question why public schools like Lawrence have such a low passing rate for the MCAS. Thats just as unfair as the students of Georgetown not getting the best education that is possible.
The nice thing about egotists is that they don't talk about other peopleicanseeformilesMarch 22 2004, 17:22:51 UTC
"I buy her all the right clothes and pretty jewels to wear" ...I'll leave it up to you to find the next line of lyrics.
Seriously though, I am not talking about a plan that would make school harder for you. I am suggesting that you support your friends and fight for a school that provides enough opportunities and guidance so that anyone in the Georgetown schools can realize their dreams.
Reasonable people adapt themselves to the world. Unreasonable people attempt to adapt the world to themselves. All progress, therefore, depends on unreasonable people.
