Which is it, is man one of God's blunders or is God one of man's?

So, I have been away for some time. Sorry I haven't had much chance to update here on this trip - only a few chances to get on the internet. As it turns out, I just got back from one of the best trips I have ever been on - in part because it has opened my eyes to how fortunate we are ( Read more... )

That is absolutly amazing that you got to go to Nepal. It is one of the places that I would LOVE to visit. Kinda scary about the bodies in the ice but still incredible. If you have pictures I would DIE if I could see them. It is an beautiful place.

My friend has gone to the Dominican Republic twice to help with missions at hospitals. She said it was an eye opening experience on how fortunate our life is. (I need to go Eastern Kentucky and I will get 1/2 of that experience)

I'll re[ly more later my dad just got home and our company is going out to dinner with us. Tell me more about everything!

It sounds like your trip was absolutely amazing! You're so lucky to have had the opportunity to go to both Nepal and Haiti. I was working at a camp last week, and a pair of twins said that their family went on a missions trip to Haiti, and it really made them see how lucky we are to live in America, and how fortunate we are to be born into generally well-off families. It's certainly something I would like to do at some point in my life, because a humbling experience is worth a lot ( ... )

Love to Jen. I keep meaning to sit down and write about the travel experiences I have had the last two years - before the little bits and pieces and feelings I had at the time get lost.

All right. I'll find a notebook/journal, decorate it and whatnot...then send it to you so you can write about your most recent trips. I have Chile during winter break and Mali, Africa in the spring/beginning of next summer. Traveling is one of the most amazing things...and it is even more amazing when you know you have a home to go to when you're all done.

Peace
Jen
