series overview.
Personality:
When first appearing in the series Galatea comes off as being a bit more on the vain side. Being ranked #3 in the Organization and earning the nickname "God Eye" has left her feeling extremely confident about herself, especially in battle, and she likes to flaunt this aspect around her opponents and comrades as much as possible. She never passes up the opportunity to make witty remarks towards someone when she thinks it's called for, be it in a fight or just in casual talk. This vain attitude of her's leaves her with high expectations (of herself and sometimes others) and along with being confident in battle she has a deep respect for beauty. Galatea has a strict sense of aesthetics and this is shown several times in the series, during her fight with Dauf she claims she hates releasing her yoma side because she thinks it makes her look ugly and after the timeskip she shows her displeasure in Clare after Clare accidently cuts some of her hair in the process of saving her.
As vain as Galatea may be, she has her dignity still which she preferably would want keep intact. She has a certain poise in the way she moves as well as the way she speaks and just about remains as calm as can be in any given situation, losing temper never does any good. She's not up to fighting unless it's absolutely needed or doing anything foolish in the process, and is not afraid to tell others off should they be doing either of the two. In a way she can be considered to be a little passive too because of this. She's pretty sharp and knowledgeable, usually able to tell what's good for her and the group as Galatea is a fast learner. She much rather learn by observing a situation as opposed to going in blind sighted. Aside from being one of the more levelheaded, she looks for a more logical approach when working and is usually able to see the reality of things causing her to be blunt when voicing her opinion on those matters. She's not the type to be confined by naiveness and believes it's best that others aren't as well.
However, despite what one may get from Galatea's impression at first there is a lot more to her. She is actually very maternal on the inside (thus her new profession as a nun after the timeskip) and can be aloof in manner. It's easier to think of her as one of the more kindhearted of her species, as most claymores tend to push others away she stays on friendly terms with the people she occasionally converses with even if she finds them amusing more than half the time. On top of that, Galatea often doesn't fight unless ordered to but she's still a very protective person, one will be considered a comrade and always a comrade if they get close enough to her and it's at this point she'll try her best to not let anything happen to them even if it means in the end going against all odds.
So to put it quite frankly Galatea is pretty tsundere in manner, emotions are something she can't express well because of her warrior like upbringing and this can initially give off more of a cool feeling to her attitude at times. Her gentler side actually doesn't surface more until she blinds herself and secretly lives among the humans, the people that discriminated against her and her own kind, for several years to take care of children. She even states that she thought it was dumb that she warmed up to them but says that the feeling isn't bad. She also states a bit later on that she had no regrets blinding herself because she became fond of the town she was staying in and that was more important to her. Over all Galatea is an okay gal.
Extra:
Character Abilities:
Galatea has yoki, which is basically demon/monster energy running through her blood, giving her a huge advantage over most. Her abilities with it include;
-Acute yoki sensing.
-Yoki repression a.k.a hiding her aura.
-High yoki release.
-Regenerating limbs, regrowing limbs, and really fast healing.
-Super human strength and speed and durability.
-Going for days or even weeks without food, water, and sleep.
-Regulating things like body temperature and filtering out deadly toxins, she rarely if ever gets sick.
She specializes and exceeds in yoki sensing so along with sensing others with strange auras, Galatea is able to use this technique to read the smallest details such as emotions, movements, and stuff like that, from miles away or with out even looking. She is also able to use sensing to her advantage by aligning her energy with another and manipulating their movements to a certain extent. But if the opponent is stronger and focused manipulating becomes much harder and sometimes impossible.
Also, Galatea is a warrior so she's very good with a sword and is required to know how to strategize and learn how to have at least some knowledge of the world around her.
Possessions: Just her huge claymore sword.
Anything else: She's blind but she can probably fight and see l-lol better than most people :|b hurray for heightened senses.

Action/Communication thread/post sample:
[the seal is turned on to audio and the voice that comes from it is calm and collective despite Galatea's current situation] This is quite strange, I am certain I am not where I was before just a few moments ago. This isn't Rabona isn't it?
[and after a pause for her to take in her surroundings, not through looking of course (she's blind after all), she finally speaks again.
there might be a short sigh from her part]
I wouldn't think so. If some one could tell me where I am that would be appreciated.
[one more pause]
However I do feel some familiar yoki. Clare, is that you? That's something new, it seems some of my old comrades...or at least one of them made it here as well. No yoma or awakened beings though, that's a good sign.
Log/Prose sample:
The city might have gotten an interesting sight today. Right in the walk ways near the shops stood a tall blond woman. She stood up straight and her hair rested smoothly over her shoulders, only occasionally catching in the wind. But the strangest part to someone who might of spotted her upon closer inspection. Her eyes. One would have noticed the scar across the woman's eyes and the milk white of them, no pupils at all. The nun outfit was a through-off too. There some sort of radiance coming from her that indicated a level of confidence, like she was a bit too prideful.
Galatea closed her eyes not that she really needed to but to ponder to herself. The place felt very different from her previous environment, no yoma, no monsters, not anything like that. Wait. Except for the one of her own kind she sensed? Galatea would have to double check that though she was positive she was correct, she almost always was.
Scratch that, she always was. Sighing with a frown she took a step forward (the key was already pocketed away) supposing she should figure out where to head exactly despite that fact she didn't feel right leaving Rabona in the state it could have been in come the near future. The warriors left back home could take care of it now, right? Galatea had no choice but to trust them.
There was a certain elegance in the way she walked despite not being able to see, surprisingly enough. And when she reach her destination, the room she was suppose to be staying in. With some irritation she was actually able to find the place, the locals were any help at all. She pushed the door open, thinking how troublesome this was all going to be. She would rather be home looking over Rabona, because really something like this didn't seem possible at all and she had stumbled across some strange things in life. Weird music and a golden entranceway weren't any of them.
