Wikipedia and my college textbook say the following:

Ethyl carbamate (also called urethane) is a substance first prepared in the nineteenth century. Structurally it is an ester of carbamic acid, i. e., ethyl carbamate as shown. Urethane itself is: (NH2-COOC2H5) and is not a component of polyurethanes ( Read more... )

oh, and by the way, the only true gasses are found at the very end of the periodic table. Those are gaseous at room temperature.

all other elements and compounds will exibit gaseous and solid as well as liquid states at a given temperature.

don't try to beat me at chemistry. you will lose.

Ill give you the win on polyurethane NOT being urethane.

that was my bad.

there is no reason for you to continue to be a dick.

I was just defending my initial thought, and as facts proved, it wasnt totally farfetch'd for me to make the mistake i did.

you are leaving, and that sucks cause you are my bro.

so lets not leave this on a sour note.
