Numb3rs - Drabble - More Than Concern

The knife nicks his neck as the man falls. Don brushes off his team’s concern and presses a tissue to the cut, heading for the SUV and a first aid kit.

His lifesaver’s waiting for him. As Ian applies disinfectant Don notices he seems distracted.

“You have a problem with blood Ian?” The sniper pulls his hand back, fingertips red.

“Just yours.”

Oh, I like this!

I've been hoping for some Don/Ian and this is in character for both of them, which IMHO is not easy to do.

You know, this would make a great start to a Don/Ian series. /hint hint/

Still, I (As a Tasmanian) have holidays after this week, so that gives me 175 prompts, 14 days and 1 demanding muse...

I think the chances of some more Ian/Don are looking pretty good :)
