Rant - Birthdays And Bunnies
Two 18th's and one 19th in the past two weeks - one of them mine - and I'm about ready to crawl into my bed and sleep like the dead until the next blue moon. Or at least I would if it wasn't for uni on Monday *headdesk*
Last night - or was it early this morn? - I discovered out of the five of us only one isn't terrified of spiders. How? After leaving the party venue we climbed into my car and started to drive off. 20m up the road Calvin - the one not afraid of spiders - says to the girls in the back "don't look out my window." So naturally they do and start screaming because there's a huge huntsman spider catching a lift, ON MY CAR, ON THE GORRAM WINDOW!
The two girls in the back and the boy in the front passenger seat freaked. I was driving so I didn't freak too much. - yet -
Sure it was on the outside, and sure the windows were up, but it was dark and this thing was the size of one of my tyres - okay, so I'm using artistic license but it was huge, seriously! - but we were in hysterics. I was still driving, then the bloody thing skitters up onto the roof of the car. All is silent for a few seconds before I turn my head and see it on my window right at my eye-level.
I calmly pulled over at this point. - by calmly I mean "OH MY GOD OH MY GOD SPIDER ON THE CAR" *SCREAM* *TYRES SCREECH* -
For the next few minutes my friends and I are held hostage as this hairy-legged evil-eyed demon moves from window to windscreen and circles the car. To make matters worse I have arachnophobia.
Eventually Calvin - being ever so manly - gets out on his own free will - or maybe due to the fact I was screaming "GET IT OFF GET IT OFF GET IT OFF MY CAR!" - and just brushes the thing off the window. - show off -
All in all it was a good night.
In other news my best friend catte_noir thought I hadn't been writing enough - no idea where she got that notion from - so for my birthday she got me this:
It's my very own vampire plot bunny
- the fangs fell off -
Think that's enough ranting. Time to try and write something instead *prods bunny for ideas* *prod* *prod* *prod*
