Looks like I'm going to spend my birthday on crutches. Rested the sprained foot three days after the accident, then had to go back to work on Sunday. Walked ... well, limped ... on it, sat in my usual pretzel positions too much Monday, until I got this pinch-yeowch pain that told me to stop

After my professor refused me an incomplete, and I busted my tail, and did a presentation on one foot, inconvenienced a classmate -- but made it -- there was an extremely complicated snag with getting my grades in. The details aren't important, just the results: we had to wait a while to get the snag ironed out.
So I was given an incomplete after all, so the professor could go on vacation.
