I really enjoyed the format of this, the palpable regret and... I don't know. It felt very real and workable to me. Was she dying, at the end?

The working title of this piece was "Regret", so I'm glad to hear that got through! :D

I loved the format, and the "casual sci-fi" of this. The ending was resigned, a sort of casual sad that crosses over almost to 'cool'.

And to hell with physics, I failed that class twice! :)

Casual scifi is one of my favourite genres to write, because you get to just drop stuff without explaining it and everyone is like, yeah, that is totally a thing that could happen! :D
