I feel like the strength in this is that it's not clear exactly what the real creation of this is. I mean, if he and she didn't take off into the stars, they could have kept redefining the origin of the world forever.

Stories have that power, yeah. When you're spinning a yarn, in the best of yarns, it's never quite clear how the act of telling relates to the act...

This is beautifully written and imagined, and the conversation aspect was unexpected but perfect. The second voice opening with "You forgot something" had me hooked.

Thanks :D Yeah, that was the hook that made this story, in my head. I tried hard to get LJ's css to play nice, to get the stories in two columns, side by side...

...but yeah, that didn't happen :p
