We’ve had our top experts reconstructing the scene, and we can now bring you incredible slow-motion footage of the crash - including holos from inside the ship!

Now that is just messed up.

However, like the rest of the piece, it has utterly nailed the dialogue and tone of a game show, particularly a sleazy, exploitative one such as Gauntlet.

Yerp. This is a tone piece, through and through.

Thanks!

It does seem fairly risky to be HQ in any of these survival competition events. Hunger Games, Running Man, Battle Royale--never seems to work out well for the people on top. I just didn't expect it to go so quickly for these hosts. Controlling the action entirely through dialogue is a bold, bold move.

Gauntlet seems super used to it, though :p

I'm a fan of nonstandard ways of controlling action and positioning and blocking, because I think it forces you to focus on what's important to the piece and what's not. Not super sure that worked here, but that's the intent!
