As some of you know my grandmother passed away on Sunday. I had come up on Saturday to see her one last time because she was about to go and about 10 minutes after getting back to C-U on Sunday I got the call that she had passed. I drove back up to Canton on Tuesday, had the visitation last night and the funeral this morning. I am now getting ( Read more... )

I lost my Grandmother recently too, and have been dealing with that.

If you want an ear, or an eyeball for text messages, M-A knows how to find me.

Thank you very much. It's been a long, emotional past couple of days, but I'm making it through. I'm excited to be going to NYC but after this last week that I've had, I wish I had another week before going.

The drinks were actually the only thing that helped to keep me calm. I wasn't drunk, it was like the alcohol was acting like a sedative, keeping me calm. I didn't feel buzzed at all, just calm which was what I needed.

I'm going to be crashing with some friends in Brooklyn. I have somewhat of a planned schedule but still lots of openings. I'm working every morning from 8-1 (or 7 to 12 depending) and then Saturday I'm already booked, Sunday afternoon I'm going to a play, Monday I'm catching lunch with an old coworker and maybe going to a concert at Joe's Pub that night, Tuesday I'm going into the office to work in the morning and grabing lunch with our producer and having dinner with former coworkers, Wednesday I'm hanging with a friend in the afternoon/evening, Thursday I have the reunion party and Friday I haven't planned anything yet. So, right now my totally open times are Sunday morning/early afternoon/evening, Monday afternoon, Tuesday afternoon and partial evening, Wednesday evening (maybe), Thursday afternoon until 5 and then probably some time that night and all day Friday.

I made it home to M-A and I'm back in Canton again already. Flying out of Peoria tomorrow for NYC. I had a bit of a cry but I can tell that there is more that needs to be released. Guess I'll take care of that when I get back. Thank you for your condolences.
