Once again I have failed to meet my expectations with this lj... I've had a lot of insights over the past week that I really wanted to get down on here, but alas, I have skimped my duty as a chronicler of the times

Life isn't what we do alone though. Though I do agree with you that sometimes it feels that way...but that happens when we forget the quiet time. And yes, friends do seem to make a large impact on our decisions...but only if one allows that to happen. Sometimes when I feel like I may be swayed to do things I may not want to do...a verse comes to mind from a song I sang way back in 8th grade on a missions trip.
"The Lord is my light and my salvation...whom shall I fear, whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life...whom shall I fear, whom shall I fear?"

And..."I can do anything through Christ, who strengthens me." (I don't know where that is in the Bible, but I like it a lot)
