We really need to, as a culture, move away from the idea that if you're not having sex, something is wrong with you. (The message is not "If you're not having as much sex as you'd like, something is wrong," which I think is also problematic but considerably less so

While I agree that most of culture has some skewed ideas on the issue, I do think that there are times and places for some things. Sex is one of those things that is such an individual basis between a couple that it's remarkably overcomplicated.

IMHO, it's an act of love, an act of intimacy, and an act done in a certain spirit. To do it otherwise, or haphazardly is just stupid.
