Okay, I have to know-am I the only one who always wonders at the end of this how this is the first time the genocide angle has occurred to the Doctor? It's a bit of a Diabolus ex Machina, especially with the "no exceptions! Even when the alternative is letting another species die and derailing history!" Plus the cavalier way in which they all swap out what kind of a trial they're having without so much as a coffee break.
On the plus side, though, I adore that discussion the Doctor has with Mel explaining the body stash in terms of her garden compost pile. It's a brief exchange, but I really think it's one of the best moments in Who. It's compact, it's to the point, and it works. It's a great moment for Mel, too.

Also, the sole appearance of one of my favorite Six outfits. I can't help but love the purple striped waistcoat and yellow tie.
