Translator's Notes
* Descriptions of the different mafia positions the characters hold can be found on Wikipedia:
-
Boss-
Consigliere-
Caporegime- A typical
Mafia organization hierarchical structure * The names of the different Mafia families in this game seem to be greatly based on popular classic literature as follows:
- The Oz Family is based on
The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, where Caramia is the cowardly lion, Kyrie is the scarecrow, and Axel is the Tin Man
- The Grimm Family is based on
Brothers Grimm fairy tales, where Scarlet is from
Little Red Riding Hood and Hansel and Gretel are from
Hansel and Gretel- The Stivali Family is most probably based on
Puss in Boots, a popular French fairy tale. However, stivali, or stivale in its singular form, means boots in Italian.
- The Heidi Family is most probably based on
Heidi, a well-known Swiss literature.
- The Andersen Family is most probably based on the works of
Hans Christian Andersen, a well-known Danish writer. The characters are probably loosely inspired by the writer's famous fairy tales, Ande from
The Little Match Girl, Ælling from
The Ugly Duckling, and Melisus from
Thumbelina.
- Robin-Hood and Sherwood Clinic are based on the English folklore
Robin Hood, which tells of a heroic outlaw who resides in Sherwood Forest and "robs from the rich to give to the poor".
- The Oscar-Wilde Brothel is most probably based on the works of
Oscar Wilde, a well-known Irish writer. Dorian Gray will probably be based on one of the writer's most famous works,
The Picture of Dorian Gray, which tells the story of a beautiful young man who embraces
hedonism and sells his soul in attempt to immortalize his beauty.
- The Wolf Gang probably isn't directly related to any one specific piece of literature, but is used because wolves are largely antagonists in fairytales such as The Little Red Riding Hood, Three Little Pigs, The Boy Who Cried Wolf, etc. where they appear as the
Big Bad Wolf.

Right now I'm super interested in playing Caesar's route, he looks so gorgeous! I'd also love to play Caramia and Scarlet - and Axel too. Actually, I'd love to play everyone except for Kyrie because he looks like he's going to be yandere ... and that doesn't really work for me. It sort of freaks me out. D: Well, Caesar will probably be somewhat sadistic too but I'll overlook it because his face is that mesmerizing. XD
Of course, there'll might be more new characters too~ 8D
