Things have changed, now that the journal is totally restored and Mickey returned to the real world. There are no bugs anymore and ultimately, Riku is probably the only one that remembers the whole incident (...that is not counting Naminé and Sora's nameless Other; neither of them originally belonged to the journal, so he can't be quite sure about either of them).
In any case, the fate of those who are still hurting is now in the hands of the king and the real Sora and Riku and as much as Riku would still like to be of use, he knows that his- their part is done now. So he does what he has been chosen to do in first place: watch over the datascape, protect the people inside it, protect the memories. Preserve them in case they are ever needed again.
However, watching over them doesn't mean that he needs to keep himself apart from them; regardless of what he knows of their fate and memories. Right?
