The sun had barely started to touch the land, when Riku rolled onto his back, already widely awake. Rising with the sun is nothing new after the last six years of training on this world, and somehow these quiet times before training had become his favorite, times where he'd just lie back on his bed or draw himself up and watch the sun rise and shadow turn into light.
He can't idle for long though, he knows; Master Terra, too, is probably up already, preparing for morning training. So he gets up, stretching before he pulls on his cloths, purplish silver armor plate shimmering in the light as he fastens it to his shoulder.
If he's feeling gracious he will go and knock on Sora's door to make sure that his best friend slash fellow apprentice won't be sleeping in for too long. again. If he isn't... well... Sora really ought to know better by now, shouldn't he?
Still contemplating whether or whether not to wake him, Riku leaves the room, ready to face another day in the Land of Departure.
