Comments: The very first Hunger Games fic I read, and it left an excellent impression. The Peeta here rings true to the Peeta I read in the books, especially the one who was broken after everything happened. Can't wait to read more fics because of this one.

Comments: Finnick is one of my favorite characters in HG, and although he's already shared bits of his past through the interview in Mockingjay, I feel that there's so much more to say about him and Annie. And this was just beautiful and totally heartbreaking.

Comments: I'd like to think Katniss wouldn't be as cruel as to go to her and Gale's meeting place when she's married to Peeta, but she's a wild child, so it's a definite possibility. Still, I think Katniss' one single word here makes Peeta's doubts wash away.

Comments: Although I don't like the idea that Peeta fooled around pre-74th HG (I'd like to think of him as a pure boy who's infinitely infatuated with the girl from the Seam), I still liked this. Very believable still, and I would think that Katniss still wouldn't want to marry (or doesn't think about it) even when they're obviously together.

Comments: This is such a moving fic. I love that we get to see daddy!Peeta and how he must have lived with the effects of being hijacked. Beautiful.

Peeta used to help Katniss sleep. This time, she returns the favor.
Comments: When I read fics like these, I miss the boy Peeta prior to being hijacked. *sigh* Still, I love how the relationship between them works out, because they're both damaged, but they go through the pain together and that's what matters. Very moving fic.
The Unrecorded Hours by hollycomb
Katniss and Peeta in the weeks and months after the war.
Comments: This was beautiful. It's R-rated, but if you're not afraid of some sexual content it's an excellent read. There are parts where I feel like Peeta and Katniss' speech become a little OC, but still, the emotions and the ties with the story. Love it. It's missing the "You love me--real or not real?" dialogue (which I loved), but it's still a really nice piece of fanfic.

Amid the media circus leading up to the Quarter Quell, Katniss and Peeta try to create something real.
Comments: I think the idea of Verity fits the Capitol's schemes so much so that although this is fanfiction, it feels like it's taken straight out of the book (well...with the exception of a little sexual content, which seems too little in THG). The idea of having it broadcast is horrifying, but I love that they defied it by going through with the act, so their vulnerabilities would not be what the Capitol would see.
