Avery was leaning against the wall beside the entrance with his hands in his pockets and his head down. He thought that if he kept his head down, no one would notice him and they'd stop asking him all of those ridiculous questions.

He tried to smile. It didn't work so well, but he appreciated Jen's visit all the same and that helped it a bit.
