A couple updates... first, I've looked at my friend's page, and realized I have way too many groups and such posting on it. I'm going to clean it up, and then I'll be able to read/comment on everyone's page again. I also figured the last couple times I thought I'd be "back" on lj, I made an announcement, so this time I'm not going to. That way, I' ( Read more... )

I hope your grandmother's situation is treatable. Lumps are pretty serious.

As for going to Canada, that might be a different experience for you. :)

Oh man, I know just how that goes. I'm afraid I'm going to get crappy grades this semester 'cause I'm working full-time too. ;_;

Tells me about your job! And school. And life. Any boyfriend? Any updates? I'VE BEEN SO OUT OF IT! ;______;

I don't know how hard it would be to move there(and he just said Canada, so options are open)... All the legal paper-work and mumbo-jumbo. But! If we do move there, we'd probably have to VISIT first! (plus, I really, really want to leave Wichita! Even for a short trip!)....maybe sometime in January... before the semester starts, after the Christmas season...*wanders off muttering to herself*

My job is sweet, it's an on-campus security job which basically involves hanging out with my friends and/or being on the internet (i.e. RIGHT NOW) while I work for a very good pay. There's technically a lot of responsibility, hence the high pay... but generally we don't actually have to DO much of anything ( ... )

Let's see... still working in the cafe at a big bookstore, but they promoted me! So now I'm in charge of the cafe when the manager's out... and half-in charge when she's there... but mostly it's still boring. When it's not busy... but then it's just busy. Your job sounds much more fun ( ... )

Canada is awesome. I shall never ever return to the United States.

And if you come to Victoria, I can tell you where all the awesome little restaurants are.

I just looked up where Victoria is, and wow! Complete other side of the country than where I was looking, but it is closer to Northern California, where I have family... if I'm ever in the area, I'll definitely drop you a line at you! ^.^

And that's sad, if you don't even visit... I mean, Oregon's got no sales tax, and that's kind of hard to beat, so there are some reasons to visit...
