forking leads to knifing
due to marissa's insisting, i am finally updating... can't help it, she's the little devil on my shoulder. hahaha.
i guess i'll do a nice run through of my activities the past few weeks. umm... like 2 weeks ago i went to philly with tina. i'm going to just copy what tinalk2 wrote from her
"so we went out last nite in philly again. all these hot navy guys in uniforms were around. yeah, they were all hot :)
first we went to cafe spice (oops - me, lukose, lauren, beth, and we met up w/ seema, and sahil). that was ok, but all the hot guys there were w/ girls. so much for talkin to them. then we went to tangerine. i really like that place. it was funny there b/c across market, where these people live, they were dancing in front of the windows. half naked. the people just stopped on the street and watched. the guys loved it im sure. tho there WAS one girl on the street that flashed those girls dancing.....
after tangerine, we went to brasils. it wasnt what i expected. i know salsa dancing and stuff, but i kinda expected it to be more like cuba libre. brasils was small and they actually salsa dance. some guys were dancing w/ me, but i got self conscious when we were the only people on the dance floor. after we left there, we decided we were hungry - and mcdonalds sounded SO good.
BUT - there was more fun at the parking garage. the fire alarm went off - and our elevator wouldnt go up to our floor. so we had to walk up the stairs, but everyone in the elevator was laughing b/c it wouldnt take us up to our floor. and we hit every button for every floor. other people must have thought that we liked to play w/ the elevator."
school ended so i'm just waiting on the rest of my grades... 1 more class left than i am officially done. =) last friday i went to see 2 one act plays. stephie directed the one called "Under the Tree." the other was called "Serial Killer Barbie." (debbI loved that one. haha) she did a wonderful job with it. after the plays, debbie and i went to Friday's and had some junk food and alkie. hehe.
umm... i went to the mall a couple thousand times and did major shopping for the holidays and some for myself. thursday - i went to DHS to see marissa sing with the chorus. afterwards i met tina at Otts (which you know from an earlier entry. haha). friday - i met up with debbie and her friend sarah and watched The Family Man. i had seen it when it came out in theatres like 4 years ago, but it is an enjoyable movie. good pick deb! =) saturday - i went to see The Incredibles with steph. i have been waiting FOREVER to see it. i guess it was a little disappointing b/c we had hyped it up so much, but i really do love pixar animation. i do recommend people see that movie. sunday - riss & i went to the mall. we spent a nice amount of money at NY&CO. *grin* what? i needed clothes!! honest!
also within the last few weeks was Hanukkah. i received the new Eminem cd (Encore) from my parents, the movies Ed Wood and From Hell from my aunt, uncles, and cousins and a cute Hanukkah bandana from my dad. i think i made out well. =)
today i went to sammi's house around 9 a.m. we ended up going to the movies with her friend alex to see the Lemony Snicket movie. i really liked it. i just have to read the books now!
okay, time to go. my sisters are playing a game and being REALLY loud. sorry for the jumpy entry. haha.
