better late than never, am i right? haha. here's my version of 2004 in survey form. thanks patricia!



1. What did you do in 2004 that you'd never done before?
- traveled to Los Angeles, Tallahassee
- met Patricia after years of correspondence!
- was a bridesmaid in a wedding
- saw a concert in AC
- went to goth night at a club
- got something other than my ears pierced
- went MIA until the next day.. a few times.. oops =)
- bar hopped in Old City
- had the house to myself for a whole week!
- some other stuff that doesn't need to be mentioned on livejournal... haha

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
i tend not to make resolutions because i never keep them anyway. if i do have them it's the same old ones... eat better, exercise, etc... i always start off pretty good, but slack off near the end of the year. hopefully this year will be better

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
not that i'm aware of. haha

4. Did anyone close to you die?
a friend of the family who i had known since i was little

5. What countries did you visit?
none.. *sniff*

6. What would you like to have in 2005 that you lacked in 2004?
More concerts and events. A little more happiness. A guy would be nice. ;) (have to agree with everything patricia said really...)

7. What date from 2004 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
since i tend to be negative... i remember mostly bad dates (October 29th, my accident, etc...), but there were some good (May 8th - Florida, California trip)

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
having my article published in print & online for Philadelphia People

9. What was your biggest failure?
umm... i can't think of anything specific right this second

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
i had a UTI (urinary tract infection) that involved an ER visit... then about 2 weeks later i was nicked by a car which involved another ER visit.. just had a major bruise for a while

11. What was the best thing you bought?
oh geez, how am i supposed to know? i didn't make any major purchases...

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Debbie, Bethany, and Tina - graduating college, Stacie & Micah getting married, Stephanie putting up her own productions... lots and lots of good things, so many that i can't remember them all!

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
certain friends... we'll just leave it at that...

14. Where did most of your money go?
food, cds, alcohol.. lol

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
winning a contest for an acoustic fuel performance (took Jen w/ me), my FL and CA trips

16. What song will always remind you of 2004?
This is such a hard question… outkast - hey ya, songs by muse, afi, umm… don’t know what else, maybe I’ll think of something later

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier or sadder? sadder
ii. thinner or fatter? about the same
iii. richer or poorer? a little poorer, but it's a-changin

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
appreciated what i had, been happier

19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
being lazy and unmotivated

20. How will you be spending Christmas?
what i did was... Christmas Eve - my family went out to a nice dinner (Barone's), Christmas Day - my grandparents came over with their nurse Eleanor.. that night I went out with Tina, her sister Michelle and her husband Anthony

21. What was the most embarrassing thing that happened to you in 2004?
ummm… does getting hit by a car, laying in the middle of the street and not being allowed up while at school, count?

22. Did you fall in love in 2004?
nope

23. How many one-night stands?
wouldn't you like to know.. haha

24. What were your favorite TV programs?
angel (cancelled.. *sniff*), will & grace, scrubs, the practice (also now gone)

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
not really HATE... i should, but i don't

26. What was the best book you read?
Vamped by David Sosnowski, the Laurell K. Hamilton books (Anita Blake series), Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants (and the 2nd one), can't think of anything else at the moment...

27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
MUSE, lacuna coil, silvertide, green day (again...)

28. What did you want and get?
friens that really do care a lot about me and stay with me through the good and the bad. i love you guys. =)

29. What did you want and not get?
digital camera. lol… sorry, I really wanted one!

30. What was your favorite film of this year?
are you kidding? i can't answer that... anything with Johnny Depp is up there (POTC, OUATIM), umm… eternal sunshine for the spotless mind....

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
i turned 23... on my birthday i went to work (my nanny job) and got a lovely present, met my mom & marissa at the movies to see Meet The Fockers, went out with Tina & Lukose for a drink at Ott's and then to a diner. the next day we had the family dinner (at Friday's), then presents and ice cream cake. i "officially" celebrated my bday with my friends this wknd b/c my bday is at such a crappy time. we went to McFaddens.. read that entry if you want more details

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
getting a digital camera (lol.. had to do it "material girl"), being on speaking terms with my friend

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2004?
same as it always has been... comfortable: mostly jeans, fitted tops, etc..

34. What kept you sane?
my friends and sometimes my family *wink*

35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Johnny Depp, Jude Law

36. What political issue stirred you the most?
The election, gay marriage, women's rights..

37. Who did you miss?
people i don't get to see a lot

38. Who was the best new person you met?
my friend Dana from Temple U! we so have a mirrored life. haha

39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2004.
something that everyone seems to have learned this past year and I’m still in the process of learning: Things Happen For A Reason
