NIce story. I liked the topic of empathy and how you explored it, and the contact helping Puck cope was a new twist on the whole empath thing, for me. <333

Depending on what Beth's powers are, you could maybe make a series out of this, where Shelby gets back in touch because Beth is, say, telekinetic, and her toys are floating around her room, or something, and Shelby is enquiring after any strange genetic inheritance from Puck's side of the family. (Just a thought…)

On the topic of continuing this verse, I'll have to see what the muses come up with. If they come up with anything. This is actually a oneshot that I had begun YEARS ago and never got past the first 600 words. I ended up getting hit with inspiration yesterday and spit out the rest in an hour (in addition to another few fics I finished and haven't posted yet). It was unexpected. Haha. Honestly, I had thought this would be one of those fics I never finished, so I don't know if I'll be able to grab hold of those muses again. Last night seemed to be dumb luck. Haha.
