“Hey, baby girl,” Morgan said smiling as he met his girl by the elevators. “Ready for dinner?”
Of course!” she replied. “Am I ever not ready for dinner?” She asked cheekily and set her hand around his waist.
“Well, then, maybe we need to talk desserts,” Derek replied and gave her a quick kiss. The box dinged indicating it´s arrival, and the pair stepped inside.
“Hold the elevator!” was shouted just as the door started to close. Morgan swiftly set his hand out and stopped it. A hard breathing Reid entered the elevator thanking his friend with a smile.
“So, where are you going in such a hurry?” Morgan teased and gave Reid´s shoulder a loose punch.
“Nowhere, I´m just going home,” Reid said with a frown, rubbing the spot where Morgan had hit him.
“Oh, come on, no hot dates on your weekend plan?” Morgan kept on teasing, “We need to set you up with someone. I´m sure my girl could find someone to your liking.” The dark man placed a kiss on top of his girlfriend's head earning a small giggle as she agreed to his plan.
“Of course I can. What would you like?” She drilled him with a smile.
“Uhh, nothing… I mean… no one.” Reid stuttered.
“Oh, come on. Tomorrow night we´re going to take you out, and Garcia is going to phone a friend of hers I know would be perfect for you.”
“Who?” Garcia asked.
“That girl who´s all into Star Trek and old books.” Morgan replied.
“Ohh, Kelly? The girl with short blond hair?”
“Yeah, she´s about as geeky as Reid. They´d be a perfect match.”
“No,” Reid objected looking with horror between his so-called friends. “You are not setting me up with anyone, ever.”
“Oh, come on,” Morgan pushed. “One date won´t hurt. We´ll pick you up at nine.” He finished and looked at his girlfriend for confirmation.
“Yeah, and if Kelly can´t make it, I know of another girl who´s been dying to meet you,” Garcia told him.
“What?! I said no…” Reid tried again. The elevator came to a halt as it reached the ground floor.
“Too late, Reid, you´re in. Have a good night,” Morgan said and patted his shoulder as the pair walked toward their car.
“Good night, Reid,” Garcia called. “See you tomorrow.”

The next evening Morgan and Garcia practically dragged the genius out of his apartment. They allowed him one stop to pick up his messenger bag before ushering him out of the door.
“Kelly is meeting us at the bar,” Garcia told Reid smiling.
Reid pouted. “You really think forcing me on a date is going to make me good company?”
“Honey, you´re never boring, just misunderstood.” Garcia smiled brightly at the young genius.
“And is that supposed to make me feel better or worse?” Reid asked after some thought.
“Come on, man. Just relax and have some fun, that´s the whole point of it,” Morgan offered as he parked his car.
“Do I strike you as liking going out to bars for fun?” Reid asked.
Morgan and Garcia shared a laugh. “Gotta start somewhere, pretty boy.”
Kelly was holding their table when they arrived. She had short blond hair and glasses, wearing jeans and a red shirt, topped with low cut boots with a small heel. Garcia and Kelly hugged fiercely when they saw each other.
“Kelly, this is Spencer,” Garcia said turned toward her tall friend. Kelly smiled and Reid gave her a shy smile and a wave.
“I´m sorry that my matchmaking friend thinks we need to meet,” Kelly said with a bright smile, “but it´s nice to meet you, Spencer.”
As they sat down, Morgan made his way over to the bar to get them drinks, and Garcia and Kelly launched into a talk about servers, viruses, and a debate about various coding.
Soon after Morgan´s return to the table, foods and drinks arrived. Kelly kept up with Morgan´s teasing and gave it as good as she got it. There was laughter all around the table and soon Garcia and Morgan noted that their friends had engaged in deep conversation about the difference between Shakespeare´s and Webster´s plays.
Morgan dragged Garcia out on the dance floor when the DJ had played for an hour. They watched as their coworker said something to Kelly, who laughed out loud and Reid smiled. Garcia and Morgan looked into each other´s eyes and smiled. This was too good to be true, but it seemed their setup had worked.
And as it turned out, it was too good to be true. When they finally parted ways, Kelly took a cab after hugging all of them and thanking them for an amazing night. Reid was slightly buzzed and hugged her back but nothing further. As they drove home Morgan gave Reid a hard time about not getting her number.
“Come on, sugar. Stop tormenting our genius. Maybe she wasn´t his type.” Garcia said from the driver´s seat.
Morgan turned around looking at Reid. “Is that it? You into brunets? Because that can be arranged, I know a hot little thing. Although she´s not as amazing as my girl, here.”
“Nice save, mister,” Garcia dangled her hand playfully into Morgan´s thigh.
“What! No. I´m not doing that again,” Reid said firmly from the back seat but his speech was slightly slurred from drinking.

Three weeks later Morgan and Garcia dragged Reid out again and set him up with Lisa, Morgan´s friend, but it all went the same way.
Next try was a blind date. They tricked him into meeting a girl Garcia knew and watched from the other side of the restaurant as the young genius was awkward at first, but then managed to sweep the girl off her feet with shy smiles and apologies about his rambles, and then he sent her off in a cab.

The following Monday, Morgan met his friend in the small corner kitchen at the coffee maker. Reid was not happy about how he´d been set up.
“I´m never doing paperwork for you again, ever,” Reid said evenly, but Morgan could hear the angry undertone.
“I don´t get it, one might think you don´t go for girls even if you managed to charm all of them,” Morgan replied as he noted how his friend had frozen with the coffeepot midair for a just a few seconds.
Reid set the pot down and grabbed the sugar shaker, pouring insane amount of sugar into his cup. “Of course not, Morgan. I like girls,” Reid said angrily.
“That´s it,” Morgan almost shouted.
“Morgan!!!” Reid growled lowly and turned toward his friend.
“Believe it or not, this makes sense, my friend,” Morgan told him and smiled boldly.
“How does this make sense? You´re implying I´m, what… gay?”
“Yes, and I think I´m right.” Morgan laughed, poking his fingers in Reid´s chest.
Reid gave him a hard stare. “It just matters more to me how people think then their gender.” He fell silent and looked down into his mug. “Is that wrong?”
Morgan´s smile fell a bit. “No, it´s not wrong, it just means you haven´t found what you´re looking for.”
Reid fidgeted uncomfortable for a few seconds. “Umm…You can´t tell anyone. Promise me you won´t tell anyone... Anyone! Morgan.”
“No worries, your secret is safe with me. Garcia will know though,” Morgan said and patted his back as they walked to their seats.
Reid arched his eyebrow. “Yeah, but is it safe with Garcia?”
“I can´t speak for my girl; you know that. She goes where she wants to go.”
“That´s what I´m afraid of,” Reid mumbled.
“So next Friday we are going to the new club that opened few weeks ago. It´s right up your alley,” Morgan said and winked at him.
“No, we are not. You had your chances; I´m not going,” Reid told him angrily.
For some good fortune (Reid claimed bad luck) they didn´t have a case and the pair didn´t give their friend a break and dragged him right from work to a long dinner and then to the new gay-club.
As they stepped outside of the car, Garcia stopped him and pointed at his sweater vest. “You are taking this off,” she demanded.
“What? But it´s cold,” Reid complained, but complied.
“Hmm,” Garcia said and studied him. She pulled off his tie and unbuttoned the top button before stepping back and study her handiwork, ignoring the angry stare she got from the young man. Reid was wearing dark cords with his shirt tugged in. She moved to untuck it and discovered the young man was wearing a white undershirt. “Ohh,” she said with a smile, “take your shirt off.”
“What! No! My vest and tie are enough,” Reid objected, and crossed his hand over his chest.
“If you don´t, I´ll Photoshop a picture of you and send it to BUTT,” Garcia threatened with a smile.
“Garcia!” Reid´s eyes widened with horror. A few seconds later, he unbuttoned his shirt all the way and took it off. The undershirt was tight, showing off his slim body.
Pen stepped closer, pulled the T from where it was tucked into his cords and ran her hand a few times over his hair, combing it back and fluffing it. Wow! Now that´s hot, she thought as she admired him.
They strolled into the club smiling. It was full and the music was loud. They still managed to get a table and sat down with their drinks. Garcia claimed her man by sitting tight up against him and left Reid open for a few men who tried to engage in a conversation with him by sitting in the empty chair next to him. Somehow their coworker managed to send them their way after a short talk.
Morgan leaned forward. “Come on, man. Someone must interest you.”
He was interrupted when a hand was set on Reid´s shoulder. As he looked up, he saw it was his boss smiling down at them. “Hotch!” he yelped in surprise. Morgan looked the dark haired man over, light gray suit with a black shirt that was open in the neck.
Hotch took a seat in the empty chair next to Reid and set his arm around Reid shoulder. The pair watched wide eyed as Hotch kissed Reid´s cheek. “Sorry, I´m late. Paperwork took longer than I expected and I had to go home and change.”
Reid turned his head and smiled. “I´m just glad you made it.” Hotch returned the smile and gave Reid a quick kiss on the waiting lips.
“What the hell are you doing?” Morgan yelled over the table, abruptly leaning forward. He almost rubbed his eyes to make sure he wasn´t seeing things. Hotch, his boss, was kissing Reid
Garcia leaned forward setting her hand on Morgan´s arm. “I smell gossip,” she said smiling.
Reid and Hotch looked at the pair across the table. “I´m saying hi to my boyfriend,” Reid said calmly and smiled over the shocked on his friend's faces.
Morgan recovered first. “Why the hell didn´t you tell me?” he asked both men.
The men looked at each other and smiled. “Because,” Reid said, “we are telling you now. We are trusting you won´t take this further-- neither of you.” He finished looking between his friends.
“But all the dates…” Garcia said.
“You wouldn´t take no for an answer,” Reid claimed, “I said it more than once and you threatened me with Photoshop.”
Hotch chuckled and looked over his lover. He leaned in and whispered something in Reid´s ear that made Reid look shy and smug at the same time.
“How long have you two been…together?” Morgan asked, he couldn´t believe the relationship had escaped him.
“Almost six months,” Hotch said.
“Hundred and seventy days,” Reid said at the same time.
“How did I not see this?” Morgan asked Hotch.
“We haven´t exactly been hiding it, but we both separate work from home. That makes it easier.” Hotch replied.
Morgan was still wrapping his head around this. “What about work? I mean, it´s conflict of interest, don´t you think?”
Hotch nodded, his face turned serious. “Dave took over Spencer´s evaluations as soon as he figured it out. We all knew it was the best move in the situation.”
“How long has Rossi known?”
Reid snorted. “He figured it out on the twenty-fifth day.”
“He saw me talking to Spencer in the hallway one morning,” Hotch said with a laugh. “He claims I was territorial.”
“Well, sir, you do have a tendency to be territorial” Garcia said with a grin. She raised her glass and held it out, “To long life, love and happiness.” They all clung their glasses together with a smile.
Later that night, while Morgan was ordering another round at the bar and Reid had excused himself to use the restroom, Hotch took a seat next to Garcia. “If you have a picture of Reid in that outfit, I want a copy.”
“Yes, sir, I´ll make sure you get one.” she replied happily and smiled conspiratorially at her boss.
-The End.
