[ After getting stuck with the car in the snow for the third time on the long road leading up to Norway's rather secluded house, Sweden started wondering if Norway really wanted visitors after all. Surely he could let the trolls clear the road if he was busy elsewhere. Leaving it unattended like this made him feel rather unwelcome.
It was already dark outside when he finally knocked on Norway's door. ]
[ Norway heard a car pull up in the drive just as he was setting to brew more coffee, and knew it was him. It wouldn't be anyone else, not on a night like this one.
So, he opened the door, and stepped aside to let him in. ]
Started wondrin' if you'd come at all.
...Didn't think it'd snow so much.
[ With an unspoken "Sorry", and a slight apologetic look, the sort that would slip past anyone who didn't know what to look for ]
[ Well, it's Norway after all. He had probably been distracted by something far more interesting than the world outside his windows, to the point of not even realising the snow had rendered the world quite unmanageable. ]
Mmn. 'Nother hour an' th'road will be useless.
[ Sweden took off his shoes before stepping inside. No sense in making puddles of water on Norway's floor. ]

[ Norway took another look out. Sweden was right. It was piled up thick, and still falling heavily. No wonder there had been a delay. ]
Well. Looks like you'll be stayin' a might longer'n we thought.
[ He said it casually as he took Sweden's coat from him to hang it up - then considered, and added ]
Don't mind that, though.
