4 months of preparation = nothing
On 22 November 2010 Melissa scored a 980 on the GRE.
A 590 on the verbal (down 10 points from my 2006 score).
A 390 on the quantitative (down 150 from my 2006 score). [AN: the nebulous "they" and all the damned book writers say that the quantitative section is generally considered the easier of the 2...well, they never met me. I'm good at math. I can ( Read more... ) -

Fall and fall...
Tomorrow I begin the drive back to Florida. My hope is to make it to Savannah, Georgia on the first day and have time to eat at an awesome restaurant. Then be back in Ft. Pierce on the 13th. Summer ahoy...
My time in Florida has come to an end for a time. Tomorrow I'm off to Atlanta until the 3rd of July, then to Kokomo, Indiana to spend the rest of the summer with mama. I'll likely be there until August 10th since I report back to school on the 16th.

Happenings, they happen...
Things that are going on with me. Ugh. I've been MRI'd and Ultrasounded to the ground. 2 things have been discovered: I have a minor hear murmur, and some sort of nodule/legion on my thyroid. Given that all my hormones related to the thyroid are normal and I haven't dropped dead...it doesn't appear to be anything other than a defect I may have...I ( Read more... )
