[Did someone ask for a TROUBLESOME GIRL? I believe someone did. Naturally, Noel is quick to call back.]

M-Major Kisaragi! Um... Welcome to Somarium, sir!

[Jin stops in his tracks. He hears a familiarly irritating voice... Jin pulls the device from his pocket and glares at the girl on the screen.]

Lieutenant Vermillion. What a surprise. I was hoping you wouldn't be here.

[A brief, dejected whimper escapes from Noel's lips upon hearing the insult. Same as always, even when trapped in the same unknown location. It's definitely the Major. She tries her best to disregard the statement, no matter how much it hurts.]

I... I'm glad you're taking the situation well, sir. I'm sorry that Tsubaki isn't here to greet you too; s-she managed to leave this place before you arrived.

[After all, Tsubaki was the whole reason Noel is so determined to bring Jin back to his post. She forces a smile, quite nervous.]

Ummm... Would you like a briefing about this place, Major?

[Jin huffed, listening to this girl was nothing short of annoying. Her timid tone wore on his nerves. However, he began to wonder just how long she had been in this strange place. Surely she knew it better than he did.]

Hmph. It's no worse than anywhere else. What was it you said...? Solarium...?

[He took a quick look around. This surely didn't look like any Solarium. Not that anything here met his definition of 'usual'.]

...Anyhow, carry on Lieutenant. Give me the details.

[ Here have an irritated Haru. It seems the "troublesome girl" comment struck a nerve... ]

Hahi! Mean of you! Have you ever thought that this [ cue air quotes ] "troublesome girl" is trying her best at what ever is is that she does? Have you ever even stopped to get to know her? Maybe if you did she would seem so troublesome, because you would learn that she's doing her best no matter what the situation is.

Haru bets that you've never done or thought any of that though. Haru would bet her favorite cosplay costume that you just yell at her, and brush her off, and treat her like she's can't do anything right. That's the worst, the absolute worst. Haru hopes that that girl isn't here just so she doesn't have to deal with you and your horrible treatment of her.

[ Haru huffs and scowls ] Oh yeah, welcome to Somarium.

[Jin waits in silence while the girl scolds him, seemingly unfazed by her words. He does nothing but stare quietly until she finishes speaking.]

Are you just about done? I have no intention of 'getting to know' that girl. You would do well to mind your own business, or are you looking to start something?

[Whoever this girl was, she seemed to know just how to get on Jin's nerves. He returned her scowl with a narrow stare.]

[Great. If Elliot wasn't in the police, he never would bother responding, but addressing the new residents was part of the job, since they logged the people who came and went. The guy could at least shut his Dreamberry off while he was walking. Then again, he probably had no idea what the thing was.]

[Jin could care less who heard him, nor did he care who it inconvenienced. Learning to use the Dreamberry would be, well, a waste of time in his eyes.]

Whoever you are, I hope you have a good reason to bother me.

[His voice came out almost as a growl. Elliot was clearly trying to suppress his annoyance at that last comment, and failing miserably. Apparently, one of the boy's extremely rare moments of trying to be accommodating was just wasted on Jin. His professionalism wasn't going to remain intact at this rate.]

Introduce myself? And to who?

[Despite being told several times that there were many people here, that fact never seemed to stick. Jin didn't seem to take anything regarding this world with any seriousness. He quickly grew irritated with the man questioning him.]

...You're getting on my nerves.

[He felt the urge to summon his blade and cut the man to pieces, but finding him to do so wasn't worth the effort.]

But tell me this. What concern is it of yours if I'm bothering others?
