After a few moments of silence, an impatient voice sighs. The red glare quickly vanishes, replaced by buildings and scenery, then by the face of a boy. His expression is

[Great. If Elliot wasn't in the police, he never would bother responding, but addressing the new residents was part of the job, since they logged the people who came and went. The guy could at least shut his Dreamberry off while he was walking. Then again, he probably had no idea what the thing was.]

[Jin could care less who heard him, nor did he care who it inconvenienced. Learning to use the Dreamberry would be, well, a waste of time in his eyes.]

[His voice came out almost as a growl. Elliot was clearly trying to suppress his annoyance at that last comment, and failing miserably. Apparently, one of the boy's extremely rare moments of trying to be accommodating was just wasted on Jin. His professionalism wasn't going to remain intact at this rate.]

Introduce myself? And to who?

[Despite being told several times that there were many people here, that fact never seemed to stick. Jin didn't seem to take anything regarding this world with any seriousness. He quickly grew irritated with the man questioning him.]

[He felt the urge to summon his blade and cut the man to pieces, but finding him to do so wasn't worth the effort.]

[Was he being serious?! So much for introducing himself. All thoughts of it were just forgotten.]

[Jin was effectively convincing him to never try to warn someone about this again. So much for doing his job.]

[Jin glowered at the man on the screen, who appeared to be thoroughly pissed. Any bit of Jin's calm and collected attitude just flew right out the window.]

Excuse me? Do you honestly believe I care if I bother you? What makes you special, side from your abnormally loud screeching?

[Oh, how Jin wished he could find this intrusive man and knock him down a peg. Or kill him, whichever happened first.]

[Elliot shared the sentiment in every way. Only, he wouldn't try to kill the guy, just because that would be completely dishonorable. Also, if Jin wanted him to stop 'screeching', insulting him wasn't the way to do it.]

It's not just me, it's EVERYONE. You're burdening everyone else in this place just because you're too stupid to just shut your damn Dreamberry off!

[He nearly lets out a bitter laugh in pure frustrated spite.] Right, because that's completely rational! Do you try to kill everything that annoys you?

[Even as he was faced with the utter ridiculousness of the man's response, he was not backing down, nor did he feel threatened at all.]
