I like the way you play with language here, dismembering words by isolating (and disfiguring) roots. You even drop the reader a bone in the line 'some let ters m(o/u)st be emphasized when (before?) they are written.'

Still, you don't need to do the work for us. We're perfectly capable of sighting sibilance sans a stuck s.
