I was playing FFX the other day for the second time and i realized that i actually like this game a lot better than when I played it the first time..But it's sad, every time i play an ff game now, I start thinking about ffmush; then I get all depressed and start thinking of all the people who breathed life into those characters..And I know that

I haven't the foggiest, as to whether FFMUSH will return or not. Either or, I find that memories from 2001 -> onwards are bittersweet. I'm truly going to miss that place; the people, the characters... everything. I'm kinda in the same boat as you, too! I can't play an FF game without thinking of the MUSH, and what has been lost. It's really kinda weird... a person can get so attached to a synthetic online being --- an RP character -- and when they're gone, it hurts.

Whether or not that place will rise from the ashes; I'll either be there to greet it again, or bid adieu. I will also note that it has been a wonderful few years; I've met many great people --- /you/ included, Thesie. Sadly, many of us could not end our stories... but at least there were wonderful stories to be written. Thanks for the fun times. ^^

I feel similar to both of you, in a lot of ways. Many of my earliest and most fun memories of the game have turned to ash, and I find that FF characters regularly make me think of the MU* -- especially the minor ones like Celia and Meliadoul who were fleshed out by their players. And I also made some great friends there, both of you included.

As for stories... FFMUSH scores a C for me, there. Still, it's been a hugely influential MUSH for me, and I had good times there, even if they're rather more than bittersweet now. Take care, both of you. Thes, I can see you on AIM; Latty, log on as Foof. :)
