I'm irritated by those people who think that Hillary supporters are going to vote for McCain now that he's picked Sarah Palin as his VP... just because she's a woman. Give me some credit, eh? Yes, she's pretty and has boobs and all that, but she's still uber-conservative.

I for one was THRILLED about Biden so it just solidified for me that of course I would vote Obama now that my candidate is gone.

Um yeah. Since the platform of that ticket is NOTHING that I agree with I think I will just pop right on over since he has a vagina on his ticket now. WTF?

This is insane. Let's see...my candidate and Barack Obama had very similar platforms and ideas. Hmmm. Whom should I vote for? The person with the opposite ideas? Or the person who was my second choice. Hmmm let me think. I will let you know when my vagina has made up it's mind. It's like a compass you know...pointing me where I should go.

Funny ... a couple of my female LJ friends have made very similar posts about this. As they said ... history either way ... either an african-american or a woman will be in office. Thank goodness I'm in Canada ... the Republican adgenda scares the cr*p out of me.

Well, you know, that's not much different from all those people who are telling me that if I don't vote for Obama it's racist, which is really annoying.

He wasn't trying to snag the Hillary voters with her. He was trying to capture what he'd lost of the far-right by being more moderate than most. She also helps with the 'bipartisan/working together' and 'maverick Republican' titles based on what she's done up in Alaska. Overall, it's a pretty good choice, considering a lot of his other options, I think.
