I've never gone to a semi-formal in my life. I know it's sad, but none of my friends really go so everyone there are with other crowds that I don't really talk to, you know? I don't drink or smoke, or party much, so I don't think I'll fit in.;/
Oh, that's not right of your teacher. We have passwords for some classes, so at the beginning of the year, each student has their own little 'password', and the teacher will use that instead of their names so unless you share it with other people, no one knows who is who. I think it's better for her to just talk to the students privately instead of showing it to the whole class. I've had teachers who's done that and it was just mean.;/

How many semi-formals does your school have? We only have one in gr.11.
I hate how I feel pressured to go when I don't even want to..like is it really a big deal =\ & honestly I don't care about prom too much lol..everyone makes a big deal out of it but in 5 years I doubt I'll look back & regret not going. I'm the same way; I don't really like school parties/dances. (I don't drink or smoke either)
Teachers usually give us each a sheet with our mark update..or in my art class last year my teacher would post it up using our student IDs instead of our names. But my bio teacher decided to use our names >:[

Um, I think one or two. And then there's a formal. Actually, I don't really know how the system works, hehe. But I know people were going to them in gr. 9 and 10, and they were still in my grade so yeah. It's not a big deal for me but I think I'd like to try prom. Just the dressing up part, not really dancing, haha.;P
Oh, we have student IDs too, but usually teachers call us up and then tells us how we're doing, and they'll talk to you more if you're having trouble.;/

semi isn't that important. i didn't go last year cause i didn't feel like spending money on a dress and such.

I haven't gone to any dances either yet, I just don't feel like going out & getting a dress & everything, plus going to a dance without a date [like I would] would be lame. Exactly, I'm waiting for the bigger dances to come up for me to go.
I'm basically failing math, so I know how you feel! That's so lame of your teacher! I really hope you're able to raise your grade!

yea..I probably won't go. Like prom is way more important, & I don't think I'll miss out on too much by not going to semi.
I know!! ughh. lol the weird thing is whenever I try to study for a test, I usually end up doing not too well on it. But whenever I don't study alot I end up doing good. I studied sooo much for the first test & practically failed so for the 2nd I studied less & did better hehe.
YESSS! many times today hehe. I didn't want to talk about it since I realized most of my entries are about them lmao. So maybe another day.
