about crediting

I don't know what I should do with the comment you showed here for crediting. If i used one of your WONDERFUL icons on an entry i make at where do I put that comment? In the body of my message- at the end- is there a way do make it carry over each time I use it? Sorry about my now understanding this- it's one of the reasons i don't use other people's icons because I don't know the etiquette or technology involved in crediting.

Thanks for your help - BTW these are the 1st I've seen from MENTALIST and you have some very unique ones for SPN.

The comment I showed only appears on your user icons page. When uploading or editing your user icons, there's a box that says "comment" (as shown in the picture, the box next to comment is highlighted), there you can just write 'made by' somewhere there. There's no need to worry about mentioning who made your icon when you post because once it's saved on your user icons page, you don't have to re-credit everytime you post.

Crediting isn't mandatory or anything, it's just so if someone likes an icon, they can find more like it. Other icon/banner makers may want it always credited, so you would have to ask them about that if it's still confusing.
