UGH I fell into the same trap. They won't let you switch out essays after you've sent one Common App in! My only thought (and you're not going to like it) is to create a new account and transfer information, then send it into Dartmouth. Bleckkkk. Sorry if that didn't help at all.

I think Leslie is right. Try starting a new account, with a different email address and stuff. Not entirely sure that they will let you, but it's worth a shot. All you would have to do is copy and paste information you already put in so it won't be that bad.
