 For those who had seen Taiwanese hit movie Monga, you may find the Cantonese tune of the "Prince Gang" dancing familiar. The title of the song is "Trap of Love" sung by Alan Tam. The movie version is covered by Grasshoppers.

After some check, the original tune went to 1980's anime seiyuu named Kumi Miyasato, whom sang Senaka Goshi ni Sentimental. ( Read more... )

Majority of the travel guides and history books refer HK as the "Pearl of the Orient". I saw only one travel guide refers Philippines as "POTO".

I feel it is the term that the Filipinos proudly refer their country as. More like a nationalistic sentiment.

Bahala Na~ 

 A close friend of mine use this phrase, "Pearl of the Orient" to describe the country  he went to attend an event. To be accurate, his Filipinos friends used that to describe their country. And that phrase appeared on the forum ( Read more... )

 Just found out that 14 days later, the first US terrorist bombing in Oklahoma City is having its 15th commemorative anniversary.

After been to the site, heard, read and even take pictures, what I can do is to write and tell others that the need of recovering from trauma, not preventing it from happening.

I really have no time.

我会觉得传统到了这个年代，连这个也省，这是很悲哀的事．

The above clip makes me feel unbeliveable.

After watching it, I feel it is a sad thing when tradition have to come to this manner in our age.

 素有台湾综艺教父之称的王伟忠来到新加坡演讲，本来要找人结伴去听，但是工作太忙，没约到人，结果自己一个人去。

他是谁？ 如果你有看《超级星光大道》、《全民最大党》、《康熙来了》的话，他就是幕后推手啦。

听了他的讲座后，很佩服其心路历程。大学新闻系毕业，透过三十几年的努力，经营达十间和娱乐有关的产业。其中一个和文化有关。这就是跟他提倡的和土地保持紧密联系有关。而最重要的一句话，令我印象深刻便是，“从事媒体业的人，不会对能赚钱的本领感到自豪，而是对于自己能够为所作的事能影响其他人，而感到高兴。”

单从这一点，就能看出做大格局的思维。想到这，很多想发扬角色扮演文化的宅男腐女，应该向他看齐。

从报业中心出来，我的心灵是满满的。

Reason to catch: To see Chow Yuen Fatt act as Confucius sans the Hidden Tiger Crouching Tiger style. I want to see how a A grade Mainland Chinese female director, Hu Mei, whose previous works on Qing Dynasty politics, dish out an epic on one of the world talked philosopher.
