My guilty pleasure game is Peggle.  Steam says I've sunk 57 hours into Peggle and Peggle Nights together.  It's all right, though, because real gamers know that real gamers sometimes play Peggle.

Kane & Lynch.  I know.  Gamespot, 6/10, Jeff Gerstmann.  Moving past the controversy that left a putrid taste in a lot of people's mouths, Kane & Lynch actually has something to offer a particular sort of player.

I play games for the story as much as gameplay, so while mechanics-wise K&L is pretty mediocre, I really do like the story.  The two ( Read more... )

Thanks to my dad being a geek*, my very first video game was something I can't remember on the Commodore 64 in like 1988.  I have vague recollections of sitting in the chair with him and making a knight on a horse jump.  Maybe in a castle.
